anyone else have an oil leak like this?

was cleaning out pics and found these from last year, anybody else ever have this problem.



the cause



a good reverse pull and a broken motor mount lol.

ya i was doing donuts and threw it in reverse to back out of a parking lot and dropped the clutch. the motor mount gave way and the filter hit the master cylinder.

Yea,word of warning to 1st gen guys.DONT CLUTCH DROP IN REVERSE!
Wheel hop will break axles,drivelines,motormounts,trailing arms,ect!

I broke the gears in the rear end doing a accidental drop trying to back out of a situation, all I heard was clunk clunk clunk clunk and my car wasn’t going anywhere.

Locked the doors, guy kicks my car, I call the cops, push the car to the side and ended up paying close to $800 for damages and labor.

DON’T DROP IT IN REVERSE…EVER

i dont think that filter would have stood a chance either lol


and on second thought i think i would rather the filter crush than the pedestal crack, or the bolts pull out.

Mine looked the same, I blew the 24 year old line to the front mount oil cooler.

For me it was a day and a large bottle of simple green. I still find greasy spots every once in a while.

I was REALLY glad it was just idling in the driveway when it happened. No damage to anything but the lines.
