I can't seem to find any tires in a 185/70/13
nobody local is carrying this size any more because of the bigger rims.
I can't seem to find any body that will sell rims either.

Tirerack.com is your friend.

Rims are generally a PITA, no help for you there.

Tirerack also has a couple (last I looked) styles of rims for the non -SE 1st gens. Of course, these are 15's & 16's, which eliminates the need for 13" tires.........

Discount tire is also your friend, I got my Yokohama's there, excellent ratings, very smooth highway ride and 80,000 mile guarantee. All for about $220 complete, shipped, taxed, installed and damaged tire replacement guarantee, which they already made good on once. I'm at 45,000 miles and haven't noticed any wear or change in performance. Yokohama Avids, great stock tires.

I run the Yokohama Avids on my wifes mustang and the Dakota, they are great tires.

I try to run Summitimo's on my 7's. My 79 currently has Sams Club 13's on it.

you might also try Kumo. they have small tires and are a real good brand. I put them on my Honda.

I buy all my tires from www.tirerack.com

Well that's because of all of the ice you guys have up there in Wisconsin. You need those snow tires, you know, the ones with the studs in them? These tires are for GA highways, with lots of traffic. Hope this helps!

The GF uses 180/60/13 with 6" wide rim on her geo metro. Only one shop had a tire in that size, and they all said 13incers are hard to come by these days.

I ordered some sumitomo's from tirerack.com for her, no problemo at all. It's all about the resources!

America's Tire Company can special order you tires too.
