Put the driven wheels on the trailer and lock the fronts.

If you have the means, fabricate a 'shelf' and stack one car half on top of the other. The nose of one car will be under part of the other car.

That seems like a good idea. just some square tubing and a welder seems like it would work.

I would have worked too had you not followed up one of my ideas with that phrase. Now something is going to happen and he's going to lose a trailer, two FBs, a tow vehicle, his firstborn male, and a bottle of scotch.

I wouldn't even try it. You would have to figure out how to acomadate ten extra feet of car if you had them bumper to bumper and if you tried to just put the nose in the air or tail even, that would be and extreme angle to deal with. Not to mention you'll probably exceeding the trailers tow capacity.

You'd throw off the trailer's front to back weight ratio. You want the tongue to be 10-15% off the total weight. The trailer's wheels sit further to the back then the front just so that there is more weight up front.

Without that, the trailer will weave all over place and send you for a 180!

Also...

Do NOT trust locked front tires. I tried that when towing my 82 from VA to FL. I got maybe 10 miles and had to turn it back around after dropping the driveshaft.

I just realized that my post is unclear.

Dragging the 82 backwards (Rear up, front on the ground) caused massive bad karma.

I had to pull over, take the car off, jack it up, remove the driveshaft, and put it on the right way - front wheels up, rear behind the dolly.

As Carl said - take two trips - otherwise, you're risking only having one and being liable for any damage caused when your not-the-right-way method fails...

Get a tow hitch, put it on the front of one of them, and just tow it with all four wheels on the ground.

thanks for all the insight guys, i figured i'd just have to make 2 trips, and i guess i was right.

btw, the trailer can take 7000lbs on the deck, and we're towing w/ a Suburban 1500 5.3l, which we used to tow a '53 M350 Mercury Pickup across country (that ****** weighs more than BOTH rx7's). We also use a proper weight distributing hitch and take all the proper precautions, we're not stupid about towing things... too bad they wont fit

oh well, the problem is that my dad wont let me use the truck/trailer to get them, so it all hinges on when he is going to be going down to NJ for me to get them here.
