Yes and No. I purchased a header from them while I was visiting Australia and brought it home on the plane, try doing that today! Anywho, when we installed the header it leaked like crazy so we yanked it back off. Putting a ruler across the mounting face showed a gap slightly bigger than 1/8", so I took it to a machine shop and had it fixed up for 80$CAN. Gave Micheal a ring back at Selectmaz to discuss the problem, he said he had no idea how that could have happened and was very sorry for the trouble he caused

Long story short he asked me to fax him a copy of the receipt for the machine work and gave me a credit at SelectMaz for equal value, which I promtply used to purchase 2 SS packed resonators from him. I had no idea how loud straight pipes were going to be, so I was pretty happy to get the pre-silencers. Michael took a fair chunk of of his day to talk to me about everything rotary and give me a tour of his facilities, both actually because they were in the process of moving across the street at the time. I plan to order a flywheel from them in the near future, and maybe a weber. Hopefully I won't get anymore warped parts...

What are you thinking about getting?

I suggest you go to www.ausrotary.com for comments from Australian forum members. They have detailed comments on most rotary tuners.

Im going to order a super light weight flywheel. MUCH cheaper than getting it from RB due to exchange rates...About half the price!! BTW how do you like the presilencers? did they quiet it down much? Im also in need of getting my exhaust a bit more quiet.

Jimmy54 are you going to buy their Billet Flywheel with the aluminum spacer? Weighs like 7lbs? I looked a lot at that one and:

a. It looks like a wheelchair waiting to happen.
b. Ring gear got chewed up after 14 race weekends. need whole new billet flywheel
c. Price is right
d. Darn lightweight
e. I bought the Centerforce 9lb aluminum light flywheel because I want to walk all my life and don't like pulling the trans every race season.

No one can say anything about them because of some of the negative comments going around. That is all I will say.

Too much adverse comment can lead to legal action, thus any website has to protect itself.

Im guessing it is the one you are talking about, supposed to be 3.7kg.. How did it get all chewed up? just regular abuse? Also you don't think it will be very strong? this is going into a street car so it won't have all the abuse of a track car.

Mmmmmmmmmmm...........

SelectMaz sent me pics of their super light flywheel made of Billet. The ring gear got chewed thru normal wear and tear they said. Of course a starter that's not centered, or a ronched bendix gear would cause that too. but they said it was normal wear and tear.

I have NO experience with this flywheel but I think with an organic clutch disc the friction surface will last awhile. But it's that ring gear chewing and the large holes along the perimiter of the flywheel to lighten it that had me worried. Large holes with not much material inbetween them.....
