antifrezze problem
My cars antifrezze indicator always comes on. All it ever need is a little bit of antifrezze and the indicator light goes away. Is this a problem?

is it leaking out? did you just refill or replace or flush the radiator? this can cause air to become trapped in th system and sometimes it is a PIA to get all of it out.

If the indicator still comes on, you have a stubborn air bubble, an electrical problem, or a leak.
The sensor is in the middle of the radiator. Air floats up there sometimes. Unscrew the sensor and add some coolant into it's hole. Squeese the upper radiator hose ane at the same time, screw the sensor back in, as some coolant dribbles out. After the sensor is tight, release the hose. All air should be out.

My low coolant light comes on sporadically... near as I can figure it's a bad connection in the warning light controller.
If the coolant is actually low, and the overflow bottle is full, replace your radiator cap, make sure the hose is still attached to the cap on the overflow bottle (they like to swell up and fall off - ziptie fixes it) and make sure the hose doesn't bottom out on the bottom of the bottle (happens due to swelling - just snip the last 1/2" or so off).
What year is the car? '83-up cars like to blow the heater hoses at the engine because the ****-poor oil cooler causes the oil cooler O-rings and the dowel O-rings to leak oil all over them. Usually when they burst, you don't realize it until you fry the engine, and fried rotary is not a tasty dish.
