RB installation results

I just put on the RB header and full exhaust on my 81 12a engine. The installation was easy and there were no probablems installing it. I like the new sound of my car with this setup. Overall, I like it and I think it is very well designed exhaust system. If anybody has any questions about the installation, feel free to ask here.

What're you planning to do with the old manifold and converters?

How bad does it smell without a catalytic converter? Does it backfire any more than usual?

it is the long primary dual presliencer

I dont know b/c it has been 4 years since i had the stock exhaust on. It is really quiet at idle but when you rev it up it gets loud. Not as loud as my setup of a punch out cat, no muffler though.

What're you planning to do with the old manifold and converters?
The converters are no good. if you need a manifold, you can come pick it up or something. I have several laying around the shop.

Well, i really didnt notice too much of a gain. I was not running stock to begin with so i may not see as much. I would have to say that there is more power in the higher rpms.

Since i alreay had the catalytic converter punched out, I really dont have anything to compare too. I really dont notice any smell. My car has yet to backfire with this setup so i guess that is good. I have not driven it too much yet so perhaps it will still backfire sometimes.

If there are any other questions, just let me know!
