I just bought 3 10 inch MTX Thunder 6000's in box, and a 800 watt 2 channel amp. I was gona put the amp under the passenger seat, couldnt get it to fit good. Any other ideas? The amp is pretty long.

Wait, so you have a 2 channel amp for 3 subs? Just a thought.

storage bin is fine, I have a 5ch soundstream in there and have had it goin for hours and its never gotton too hot, only warm.
depending on how he wires it a 2ch amp is fine for 3 subs, 800 watts is plenty of power to push 3 10's.

Yep it all depends on the wireing. If you run it mono in series rather than parallel then it shouldn't get too hot.

is it the 3 sub sealed box that 4 ohms, or the same setup but at 2 ohms, and does you amp run a mono load, casue if not your wasting your time, and if its the 2 ohm setup will you amp run a 2 ohm load in mono,

i have looked at the 3 sub setup, its nice, and not a cheap POS, and if i not misstaken its like 35.5 inches wide, perfect to fit that 36 in space between the wheel wells,

but on to the amp setup, butit were it can get air, thats the best thing i can say

I agree with you Robert, ideally you want it where it can get plenty of air, but it shouldn't have any problems. Also if you on a long trip you could always leave the bin door open to keep it cool.

How big is this amp!!!! I used to fit a huge Phoenix Gold 600W under the driver`s seat with room to spare. Plenty of room under the storage bins though so that might be your best bet.

if you put your amps under the bins you could rig up little electric fans to circulate air, all you have to do is run the power off of the amp power and the ground to the amp ground that way when you amp is on the fans are on . that is part of my plans for my two rockford fosgate 12" and my pioneer premeir amp. these boxes are so dang hard to figure out though.

K, i think imma just put a piece of steel over my spare wheel(dont use it anyways) and bolt my amp onto that and just leave it right on my rear deck in the open. I dont caree much anyways

Ok first off to those up there saying all these numbers and crap. I have no clue what your talking about. The 3 subs are in a box and are wired down to 2 plugs. They came this way from the Audio store my friend bought them at. I know the amp and sub setup works thou. My friend had them in his acar for a year then put them up until i bought them. Hes showin me how he had em hooked up, i kno it hits hard how he had it hooked up
