Exclamation Ahh Quick Oil Help!!!

k, i just finished my car finally, and i'm replacing my oil, but i lost by big blue book!!! quick how much oil does a 1981 12a need, and what is the stock oil recomendation!!! please help!!!

Yep, for a stock car still using the OMP get some castrol GTX 20w50. 5 quarts should do it.

Guy's, he's in Canada. I would run a thinner oil. 10/30 or 5/30. In the summer 20/50 would be ok. Amsoil has a very sweet 0-30 oil, buy dino works great and costs less.

For 12a anyway(dont know about 13b)

-10 to 50*C......................20w50
-10 to 40*C......................20w40
-18 to 50*C......................10w50
-18 to 40*C......................10w40
-18 to 30*C......................10w30
Below -18*C.....................5w20 or 5w30

The 20w50 is fine in the winter too. It makes it a bit harder to start, but not much.

LoL, I'm really suprised I've never gotten a ticket in my 7. I've gotten one in a mercury sable, and in a chevy astro van, but not in the 7
