Aftermarket radiator

Hey what's a good aftermarket radiator that will fit in our cars? I guess an aluminum one is okay. Don't tell me to use the search button or I'll kick your ***.

You know, the radiator used in the Mopar NS minivans has the inlet/outlet on the passenger side, and it's a big by huge aluminum/plastic radiator.

If it's good enough for an airflow-poor engine bay, trying to cool off a 3.8l V6 hauling around 4000-5000lb of van and cargo, it should be plenty good for a rotary in a lighter chassis with vastly better air flow.

Yeah you'd need to fabricate mounts and shrouding (the stock stuff that the radiator bolts to will HAVE to GO) but I'm thinking about trying it.

Yes that is true at a molecular level. But in a real-world radiator there are many more factors involved, and a properly designed radiator of either metal can cool the car equally. Generally speaking, high performance radiators are made from aluminum because it has other advantages including weight. Some aluminum radiators use epoxy, especially the cheaper models. Look for a reputable manufacturer and a good design. Proper installation and ducting is very important and sometimes overlooked.

i got a 1" core alum. from srx7.com and it was the bling bling.... BUT... i was very upset with the company. I called them and asked b4 i ordered if the rad. had the mountiung holes allready inplace and if it had the mounts to install the fan shrould and to install the stock oil cooler. i was yes it has a drop in swap and had all the mounts and such installed. well when i got it it didnt have any shrould mount holes, no oil cooler mounts and the plates that the rad. mounts to the car on had no mounts. I was pissed but i didnt have a choice as i had to have it so i emailed and called and bitched a hell of a lot as i was flat out lied to. now on the performance side it kicked ***. i had to block off the rad in the winter so it would get warm.
