After Market sun/moonroof?
Ok, so my 82 doesn't have a sun/moonroof. How do you all feel about putting one in? I love 'em, wish I had one - I'm having roof-envy, I think.

My car has an aftermarket one. It's OK, not great.
Pro: Its nice to have a sunroof.
Con: Mine leaked and I had to take it out, reseal it and reinstall it. A leaky sunroof is a PITA when you live in Oregon
If it gets done right the first time it should be ok, but it'll never be as nice as a factory installed one.

Yes. They are identical as far as mounting/opening hardware.
The only thing is the '79 roofs have a single front tab, and the later ones have two tabs for more stability.
