Advice on driving lights

Ok.. I've got all winter to finish up the exterior of my widebody GSL. I'm looking for advice on the front end. I'd like to see some driving light options for this body kit, or similar. Also, since I don't have turbo, maybe some pics of what people have done with the widemouth. Thanks..

P.S. And no making fun of the paint job. Did it myself, in my garage, for under 100 bucks.. It's not buffed out yet.

Thanks.

Dave

How about these: http://www.classicgarage.com/classic...50drlakit.html

I have some knockoffs that work really well that I got from Harbor Freight, so I can imagine the real thing is just that much better.

Nice option.. I like the price too. 60 bucks.. I think I'm going to do a custom lens in front of whatever I choose. Give it that Factory look

Hey, Partsguy

I have the Mariah front bumper/airdam that is close to your setup with the niches for the driving lights. I have found the Bosch driving light kit ( comes with switch and wires and relay along with the mounts and housings and bulbs ). I got my newest set for less than 30.00 shipped on ebay. They used to be nearly 100 retail. I'll see if I can find you a new set and will include the link.

Nice project. Regards, DG

Finally found them again, Harbor Freight's site has been weird lately: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=37349

16 bucks, and good quality too. They have two different sizes, so if those are the wrong size find the other ones.

I'd leave the mouth alone. It probably pulls in quite a bit of air, which is good in many ways.

will those retangular headlights take the whole fitting for the headlight flip up? Rather than the sleepy eye conversion where you lose so upwardness in the flip?

I have the same wide body kit as you & just put Bosch in mine. Fills up the opening nicely & are respectable, highly functional lights.
