Advanced 6-port question
I am doing a custom exhaust on my GSL-SE, and have a RB single outlet header, and a pre-silencer.
My question is, would a custom exhaust still open the 6th ports? The pre-silencer is equiped with the air supply tube, so I was wondering if that's all it needs.
The system is not an extremly high flowing exhaust, since it will just be a single 2 or 2 1/2 inch pipe.
So backpressure is there.
And a side note...
Is there such a thing as mechanical 6th ports?
Where you control when they open and not the backpressure.

yes you can mech six ports, not sure how (its controlled by a vacuum solenoid valve i believe, just like the 2nd gens).
and i do believe your exhaust wont hurt it because its vacuum controlled. dont take my word on that though.
