adding one more to the family

I had my eye on an RX-7 near my home town that I was thinking about buying since it was my b-day on the 14th. I figured I would get something for myself. It was an 85 GS I believe maybe a GSL. The guy wanted 500 for it but since it didn't run I figured I would get him down. I called him the other day and found out it was sold. I was a bit depressed but little did I know my girl had already got the number called and bought it off of him before I could! Talk about surprised, she handed me a box about the size of a 6pack tonight after work and says "heres your gift" and I hear something jingle and open it up & bam its he title and key to that RX-7. One of the local guys I work with said a kid he knew sold it for fast cash and unplugged or disabled the fuel pump relay in case he wanted it back later. So when I wake up a few hours I'm getting the beast and bringing her home. The guy said if he could get it running he just knows he could get 1500 for it!?!?! Now I have an 85 Gsl-Se and an 85 Gs. Anyway I will post pics and details tomorrow.

Jeezus, theres an old expression up here about which is better, car or girlfriend.

"**** or Tires, it's going to break down or give you hell later."

I think it goes something like:

If it fly's, floats, or *****; it's always cheaper to rent than to buy.
