adding oil in with fuel

hi
I'm autocrossing a79 rx7 in EP and would like to get rid of the oil injection lines . my question is can I just put in 2 cycle oil in with my fuel? if so at what ratio?

I guess no one has responded because this question has been answered ad infinitum on this forum. Do a search for "premix", and you'll get more answers than you can shake a (dip) stick at. -WG

short answers:

Yes. you can premix

no it wont hurt your car. it burns cleaner than regular oil.

just filled mine up an hour ago. 10 ozs per tank using klotz synthetic, the rest is amoco ultimate

So does this work like a 2-stroke dirtbike.... if I let it idle for 10 minutes, then hammer on the gas, it'll smoke out the neighbours?

I'm guessing not, seeing as how the ratio is so low...

2 8oz bottles here too. As far as gas. Wish they had Sunoco 86 down here but don't so I go with Mobil 87. Anything higher and your wasting money unless you're running some type of forced induction system (turbo, supercharger)

I run about a quart per tank in my streetcar, mostly because I'm not 100% sure the oiling lines are working, and I'd rather kill some mesquitoes than blow my engine.

A lot of racers premix, for various reasons, including not wanting to kill their engines if the oiling system fails, and getting rid of it all together. I think more engines have died because they didn't get enough oil than too much.

I used to run 150:1 and it smoked really bad during WOT.
