? about the RB header

Does the streetable RB header replace the 2 pre converters? I now have only 2 hollowed out pre converters and a straight pipe that replaces the main cat. Will this header bolt right up?
Also what kind of power increase can I expect? Do you guys recommend taking off the air pump and also buying the block off plate?
Thanks.

Yes to all. Expect about 10-15 hp over your current setup.

Agreed. But, if you take off the air pump you will need a double sheaved alternator pulley ala Racing Beat. Plus a "matched" set of belts. You will probably want to tweak your carb a little also after installing the headers. And you definitely will want to purchase the presilencer that goes with the headers.

that pic looks a lot like my new RB headers i think they recently re-designed them when i put them on the header didnt quite reach the main cat it was a bout 2 inces away it was for the better cause i plan on putting an exhaust cutout there so i can change between exhaust systems i noticed a huge difference with the RB headers though

RacingBeat headers have RB cut into the engine to header flange. Also the header to presilencer flange is all wrong for a RB... whoever bought these will have a great time bolting this 3 bolt flange to his 2 bolt cats.

Did anyone else notice one of the engine/header flange stud holes has been sheared right off? And the other visible hole has been... reworked lol. If these are "never used, brand new", why did the guy have to spray paint the bends silver? I feel for the guy who just paid 125$ for these... he just got robbed.

Oh yeah, one more thing... I hope the guy who bought these knew they where for a 13B... the seller never mentions it, just "84" lol!

If I keep my air pump in to avoid water pump belt slippage, should I still get an acv blockoff plate? Now I have my air pump but I have no cats. ( does a dual alternator pully add any performance? is it worth spending money on?)

Get, or make, one when you take off the ACV.

The advantage of the dual alt pulley is to keep the single belt from slipping when you remove the air pump. The dual pulley doesn't add any performance persay....but, the belts won't squeal over 4K RPM and your car is a bit lighter because of the removal of the air pump.

If the header bolts up to the main cat, and replaces the first 2 pre converters then where would a presilencer go if I were to put one on?

In place of the main cat.

The bigger dual pulley also slows alternator speeds and makes it less prone to failure at higher rpms.
