85 RX7 Tach/Headlight Wiring Issue.
I'm in the process of rewiring a few things in my friends 85 GS or GSL. The first issue is the tach, the factory tach doesn't work an aftermarket one in installed. Which wire is the signal wire for the tach so I can jump it and it and test it? The next issue is the headlight switch. The previous owner installed an aftermarket switch off to the side, I would like to reconnect the factory headlight switch that turns near the steering wheel. Where is the factory headlight relay and what do I need to look for in order to have this switch function again? Lastly is the headlight retraction. The headlights will retract however they will not raise. This was working a few weeks ago and now it has stopped. I believe the fusible link is fine, what else can I check?
Thank you
Thank you

Tach:
Comes from the trailing coil to the stock tach via plug # A-09 to the cluster. Since your wiring is already a "cluster-f" I'd just run a wire from that coil to the wire in the back of the stock gauge cluster.
Headlight:
Trace those wires and see if they're spliced into or shorting out at all. The default position is down for them so they should have an issue going up, not down.

Thank you, I'll do some more wiring today and get back to you guys! This car is seriously a mess. Anybody have tips on fixing the stock headlight switch and location of factory headlight relay?

Alright the headlight retraction issue is fixed, I replaced the fusible links with something more modern. The tach I am still unable to fins the wire for and finally the headlight switch turns out to be bad and I am working on re building it.
