Which ever one you use, you will need to have the front cover modified to accept the S5 mop. Search through Steve84GSTII's, (sp), posts. He is the one to follow for the S5 conversions. You're better off finding an SE front cover and engine mount.
If you go standalone engine management, you can forego the mop and pre-mix.

If your gonna run the stock S5 (89-92) ECU and keep the OMP working on the engine, then you need to modify the SE front cover. It involves a bit of TIG welding and machine work, but its far less work and hassle than dealing with the alternatives, none of which are as clean, safe or proper as keeping things the way the factory intended.
Start searching, its all been covered a thousand times. If you need specific questions answered along the way, feel free to ask or PM me.....

those electric omp's on the s5's were crap anyway and really expensive to replace.
if i were you i would use the 12a front cover, block off the omp, and premix.
this way you will always know that your rotors are being properly lubricated.
