I know ive asked this before. did the 84 GS have optional LSD, rear disc brakes, power windows and mirrors because according to my VIN its an 84 GS but everything i look at says the GS did not come with these. mine has all these.

 

GSL has rear disc brakes, LSD, power mirrors/windows, all other's have drum rear brakes. all this can be swapped in to other models. i once had an 808 that i put power mirrors in.

 

Which VIN ready is saying it's a GS? If it's the one on the RX-7, that doesn't mean it's a GS. There is nothing in the VIN that tells the model.

If you run my GSL VIN (JM1FB3310F0855039), https://www.rx7club.com/vindecoder.php, also has GS as the selection in the dropdown. That dropdown has nothing to do with the VIN. Jeff20b validated my VIN in the Mazda database and was even able to tell me the day it was built.

 

Yeah I just was looking and running the VIN tag on the passengers side firewall, so it must be a GSL. Thanks
