Will the pumpkin of an 85 GSL blot straight into the axel of a 85 GS? I'm looking at buying this: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=478098 but I want to make sure that it will fit....

 

YES IT WILL FIT... Only if both are 84-85's (83 pumpkins/centersections/ham whatever you wanna call it... might also be compatiable with 84-85's, I forget) I has to do with the axle splines.

I've been through about four GSL and three GSL-SE pumpkins... my rearend housing itself and axles is a GS w/drum brakes... 84-85.

 

Has anyone else done this?

The answer is yes. It will fit. I am 100% absolutly SURE. No need to verify with others on this one. I've done it five,six times myself. Take my word for it or u can wait for anyone else who's done it to say the same. Buy it before I do to have another extra..

 

hey t2devil...will gsl-se rearend go int a gs if you change the drive shaft with it...?
