Does anybody know how many of the 1983 Limited Edition Mazda rx7s were built?

Also what is the designator code in the vin number for this model?

According to Black Dragon's RX-7 history in the beginning of their catalogs, 5,000 LEs were produced.

Appreciate all the input. I am looking at one right now. It is the right exterior color, but the interior is rough. Also it does not have the original rims. What is a fair value for one these days?

yep 5000 with S3 paint code, as for the value they usually don't go for a whole lot more than the other '83 models. Funny this should come up as I am kinda looking for one
