Replace the stock manifold and all cats with a bolt on Racing Beat header and pre-silencer. $400+ http://racingbeat.com/FRmazda1.htm
or
Keep the stock manifold and just replace all the cats with a Bonez race pipe from Rotary Performance. $75 http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/saexhaust.html

Rotary Performance also has replacement cats, if you want to go that route.

are the studs in the stock manifold removable because the nuts where so badly rusted they snapped off so if they arent removable i dont think i will be able to go that route..

Like trochoid said replace master and slave with new or rebuild and you'll be doing it again soon. I like Tokico brand. Thats what Mazdatrix sends.
i agree with this diagnostic. My Fb did the same thing when I first purchased it and the hose seemed to be in good shape. You have to either put the car up in the air or cram your hand down between the back of the intake mani and the firewall and you have to follow the hose until it turns 90* toward the front of the car. I had to put my FB up on a hoist and remove the exhaust manifold to find the leak.

They should be removable with a drill and bit. I'd say fire up the car w/o the cats on (it will be loud as hell, i ran mine with an uncollected RB header and nothing else in my Grandpa's barn and it was one of the loudest things i've ever heard) to see if the car runs well without the cats on. If so, the cats are your problem. You have all winter to get this thing up and running, so don't rush things. Your progress looks really good.

You never said what condition you found the #2 anti-afterburn hose in. That is not the pipe to the cat. It goes from the #2 anti-afterburn valve to the intake manifold.
