82 GS oil cooler price check

Need to get my oil cooler repaired-About how much would "too much" be for a repair on a few leaks. Or abot how much should a new one cost? Better yet if you have one for sale, hook me up :P

A new one would be neighborhood of like 600 bucks If I remember right. Do a 2nd gen one, they can be had, cheap as hell!

i don't think there is a write up in the archive on how to do it, but a 2nd gen air to oil cooler would be better.

I thought it would be when I bought mine, but then again, any air-oil cooler is better than the water-wet my pants one, right?

vexor - Good luck finding one locally in NJ. Maybe someone has one forsale on this forum?

We went to junk yard after junk yard bought about 5 of them... ALL OF THEM LEAKED!!! prolly just be a good idea to go to a fab shop and have them fix it for $50 or so... thats what we eventually had to do to mine...
