I havent been on the forum since i sold my 7's but i was watching this old school COPS tonight wasted and while there were at this gas staion and heard this car pull in and went by, looked to be a 80 or so white 7 with gold mesh rims...

lol...ive seen a COPS where they were chasing a white rx7...it was an FB...he ended up wrecking the thing...i almost cried...

 

i saw a cops episode with a brown FB...and the cop that was chasing him was saying stuff like : this is an rx7, best sports car, wow this car is fast, this car will out handle any of us, we might lose him. and i dont remember well but i think he got into talking about the rotary engine aswell, it was pretty cool until the guy crashed the FB

 

i don't normally watch the show but i spotted a white one during the opening credits while i was channel surfing so i continued to watch in hopes they'd show it again during the show...well...turns out they used the hood of that 7 to slam the guy up against to hand cuff him...if i were the owner i'd be PISSED!

 

i saw a cops and they said that the FB was rated at 240 hp they must not know our cars too well.

 

i think i saw that one.. some fool got stabbed or something..

 

I saw a COPS show today were a first gen RX-7 ran down a cop on a bike.

The bike left some damage on the front end of that seven. and the cop ended
taking a ride on the hood for a few seconds.

That guy didn't care much about his seven.

i was watching american hot rod on discovery a couple months back and one of the guys was spinnin donuts in brown fb, it was so cool

It's so ridiculous how much respect people have for our cars because most people dreamed about owning one when they were my age.

Check this example out from the other day;

Guy - Yeah I'll race your thunderbird (220 HP, 200 FT/LB TQ)
Me - Ok, I'll beat you in your old cutlass
Guy - Whatever, those things are slow
Me - Alright, I'll race you with my old car sitting out there
Guy - Hell no that's an RX7 (125 HP!!!!)
Me - Shakes head and walks off

Most people FEAR the RX7 name and think of these cars as the badest thing around, I've had two people offer over 2k for mine at random places because they wanted one. I've directed them here in hopes they would find one.

The guy wouldn’t race a car that has half the TQ and HP of my Thunderbird because of the legend.

Ever since I got my car RX7's in Shreveport have been showing up EVERYWHERE and they have never been here (even when I knew I was getting one and was looking for them) ever since I've been going around whooping up on the local people in their rice-mobiles.
