79 rx7 12a wiring help

Hi. I have a few questions about my 79 rx7 12a. The previous owner had attempted to install msd boxes but was not successful. So the car would not start. So I removed the boxes and wanted to wire it back to the normal way not using the msd boxes. I noticed that there were plugs that would not match up. For example, the distributor condenser wire, brake fluid sensor, oil sensor, etc. Some of the plugs don’t match up to any of the plugs that I’m able to find or see. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Check out the FSMs at Foxed.ca - Mazda RX-7 Manuals or Mazda RX-7 Reference Materials I also received a car with some of the harnesses cut up and following the wiring diagrams really helps and it also has the shapes of the plugs in there too.

If you need any pictures of the wiring, let me know and I'll post some up. Earliest 7 I have is a 1980 but some things will be similar.

That would be awesome. That’ll make things so much easier. Since some wires were cut short. Thanks again.

I can use some help to wire up my Rx7 it’s a 80

I just bought a Rx7 it supposed to be a road racing built car but never worked on a Rx7

Some guy David steal built the motor in San Diego and the Richard crites was the road racer that built the rest of the car and he passed away before finishing wiring and I would really like to bring this car back to life if you might have anything you can help me with

@Stevo90805 You should start your own thread in the race section. Probably no much stock left in this one.
