60' Times
Well for some reason i can't get betta than a 2.2 once i got a 2.0 and ran a 14.6@91 and one time a 2.1 where i ran a 14.8. now its 2.2's and 14.9's over and over. Its pissin me off I allways do the same thing over and over. even when i try different things. Like launch lower different shift points allways the same 2.2 60' and a 14.9@91 and its getting me angry!! Any suggestions... And yes I've been to angermanagement and all it did was oiss me off and make me worse. seriously lol
Is this every weeked that this is happening, it could just be that the weather was perfect on your 2.0 60' causing just a bit better times. But never know, it could be something else, tires, pressure, track.
Lack of lowend torque is a bitch.Even with mondo turbo pressure, when the tires hook up fully, theres little torque pull at 3500rpm.Compared to a lowend happy V-8, were kinda limited.
With 14psi max boost,I still couldnt break 1.9 sec. 60ft times, running 13.5@105 ,with little tirespin.

I have never done a better 60' foot than 2.2 on street tyres. Are you spinning the water off your tyres during the burnout? Also what pressure are you running in them? What rpm are you launching at?
No need to go through the water with street tires. Burnout on street tires is just tearing up your tires and doesn't help. If lower pressure doesn't help then drag radials or slicks is the way to go. Although I must agree with steve84gs. With a N/A 7 there just isn't much one can do.
1.41 is my best 60 foot time on 275-50-15 BFG drag radials with a good burnout leaving on 15 psi (in my blue car)
2.0 is average on most rx7's with shitty street tires, so your not far off....you could try slipping the clutch alittle more to reduce wheelspin but have the rpm's up where the motor starts to make power
