So what jets do you currently have on your IDA? It is supposed to work better than it is right now, you just need to play with the jetting.

I have the same setup you have and I am close to make it run perfect

List what chokes(venturis) you have, main jet, air jet, idle jets, e-tubes, etc.

So it is possible to run a 48 Ida on a stock port? I have a 12a with a stock exhaust I'd like to throw a weber on.

Yes it is possible, you just need to play with the jets to make it work right.

A good starting point will be 200 main, 150 air, 65 idle jets, 40mm chokes, f11 e-tube.

I am changing the f11 e tube for another one that I was told it is the best by the master wacky

Also remember that each engine is different so you will have to play with the jets to make it run right but it is possible and you dont just buy 1 set of jets and it will run perfect

Sounds good, I dont have a header for my stock port yet. Should I wait until I come across a header? Also, where can I find jets, etubes etc... for a IDA?

You can install it now before you get your header, all it can happen is that when you install your new header probably you will have to change your jets again but changing them on an IDA takes like 5 mins

As for the jets and such I use these 2 sites along with ebay.
