Do I need to regulate the fuel psi with the stock pump? only 4 psi...Want better gas mileage, runs great!

No regulator needed with the stock pump, but it will not flow enough fuel and WOT
for more than about 5 or 10 seconds. Otherwise in a pitch it will work fine.

THanks TG and Jeff, I remember when I was looking at installing a new fuel pump I was also looking at getting bigger hard and return lines which is why I went with a gsl se fuel setup because Lloyd had one lying around, so all I have to do is get a new fuel pump? is a new regulator required? is there another one that has a return?

If you buy a new pump, get the Carter like Jeff says and yes you'll need a regulator, and a fuel pressure gauge, and a return line. The Holley regulator has a port on the bottom for the return.

alright thanks drive fast...I already have the whole gslse fuel system installed in my car with a Mallory fpr and a gauge, just wondering if there was anything else other than the holley...so looks like i'll just have to get the carter and holley, I guess I did do something right a few years ago, I did want bigger supply and fuel lines and a great fuel filter by installing the full fuel setup from a gslse
