Exclamation 4.44 Gears

My rear broke. The two bars that hold the differential from moving broke. There the ones that connect at the bottom of the strut then connect to the frame under the car. And the differential is facing downward at about a 40-45 degree angle the drive shaft as well.

Could the gears have broken?

Are there upgradeable BARS to replace the broken ones??? Where can i find them?

Are you sure the bars themselves have broken or have the brackets pulled away from the body ? rust is very common in this area

dude the bars broke. what the actual part name for those bars. there completly broken off. They broke off about 4-5in after the welded connected part on the frame.

"RUST" dude its broken where else would i get that my diff and driveshaft is at a 40-45 degree angle...

maybe i should go to suspension sorry bye..

There shoud be 4 bars for a start, and the bars pulling away from the bodyworks is very common and would cause the diff to sit at strange angle like you say.

If they are broken I have no idea why ... is you car standard ?

$87 each from Mazdatrix

If you cars standard I doubt you need uprated ones. whoever stole your car should be hung drawn and quartered for driving an FB hard enough to break those

you can always take it to a machine shop and have them make it custom for you. deep pockets required...

yeah i dont have deep pokets...but i noticed that the stock ones or the ones on there are hollow... so i guess ANY solid one would be good.

These are fairly easy to make, I am now re-doing my rear end and am extending them into the car because of how low the car will be. You can have a fabricator build them out of anything....chromolly....what ever.

I'm just curious if your 4.44 gears are still alive, i'm thinking of getting them but afraid to break the rear and waste my money.
