how did you get the motor to fit in the FB ? custom sub-frame ? Would bump steering be a problem like on a FD ? What transmission did you choose ? A TII turbo transmission ? That was some great stuff on the website .

I don't have an airfilter because of the size of my turbo and space restrictions.

I modified the oil pan so that I could lower the engine(has lump towards front of engine I removed it) modified the steering linkage so the oil pan would clear it, moved the engine with transmission aprox 4 inches towards the rear. I have noticed that the car handles better than before.Probably because the engine is heavier and moving it towards the rear improved the car's center of gravity. Its alot more fun to drive.
I'm glad you like my website.
I going post picture of a Ford Ranger with 13b turbo, T-72, LTX-8.
Here in Puerto Rico we will fit a rotaryengine into anything .

Why raise the top strut mounting? Longer suspension travel?

Well, since someone dug up this old post.. I visited the owner some weeks ago and had a look at the almost finished car.. It is going to be a wild one!

Just had to post some pics of how the car currently looks, freshly painted. If you look closely, you can se how the rear is much wider than the original.
