2015 13-inch Tire Comparisons?
Everyone,
Interested in starting a discussion thread on what's currently available out there for 13-inch, OEM-comparable (sizewise) replacement tires. I see that both Discount and Tire Rack are down to only one offering and both have treadwear ratings over 500. Would like a nice replacement tire with "decent" grip and performance. Saw the Toyo Extensa A/S with a treadwear rating of 360AA. Hoping that people will chime in with what they've found that performs well. For me personally this is mainly intended as a "street tire" discussion, but open to discussions on 13-inch track tires as well.
Let me know what you're running and what's available on the market in 2015!

I still have the Cooper COBRA Radials with the RWL on them. 205/60x13. They are terrible tires
for performance. Take a long time to warm up and they don't have much feel, they scream like
banshees when pushed and not much grip even when hot.
The only 13 inch performance options are the RDOTs from Hoosier and Toyo I'm afraid. At least in
the 205 width anyway.
Back in the day I used to run the Vredestein Sprints as an autox tire and they were really pretty good.
Of course no RWL on any of the coker tires either. I would pay the premium if the cokers came with the
RWL lettering. It makes the waffles stand out!
