Where can you get a new dash panel? Mine is badly cracked in several places and is in need of replacement. I need this one: parts number 55-210B-FA55-07 seen on Mazdatrix: http://www.mazdatrix.com/getprice.as...5-210B-FA55-07 However, I am not impressed by the $245 US price tag. Is there another (cheaper) place to get one, or a place that does custom dash panels or something like that? Anyone have a similar predicament?

My oil cooler seems to be leaking oil, and my mom is complaining about it messing up the driveway. It's messing up my parking spot at work too. Any common problems/fixes related to leaking oil coolers? Anyone with experience in this area that could suggest a fix is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for 2 completely unrelated problems, just didn't want to make 2 posts.

Options, Post a WTB ad in the classified section. There is always someone selling one in very good condition for a reasonable price.

Check ebay for the same thing.

Search for fiberzman(not sure of the spelling) a member and vendor on the forum that offers carbon fiber products.

First thing to check on the oil cooler is the sealing washers.
I recommend getting some cleaner like simple green and cleaning off the area to verify where the leak is coming from.
Could be a hose, sealing washer, or the boss where the lines attach to the cooler.
If it is just sealing washers, make sure you get factory ones to reseal with.

Be careful tightening the fittings going into the oil cooler. Over tightening the fittings will crack the oil cooler; you will see a split running down the side of the threaded bungs. New seal washers are important.

The dash panel is nearly impossible to find in one piece, you just have to get lucky at the wreckers or on Ebay.......or pay the price of a new one.

I assume since you are looking at a slide control dash panel for the 84-85 cars, that you have a 12A powered 84-85? The GSL-SE is the only 84-85 that has the leaky rubber oil cooler lines and air/oil cooler.... and it has push button heater controls.

The beehive oil cooler under the filter is a common leaker.Your sig says you have a 13B,but not what type of oil cooler. The beehives leak a lot because the 4 rubber o-rings get brittle. They are cheap and pretty easy to change, but its messy and can be a tight fit.The crappy beehive oil cooler also tends to over time. let the other rubber seals in the engine get hard and leak,so be on the lookout for oil leaks in other areas.......especially around the top front of the engine, near the distributor. That is known as "the leak of death" and can only be fixed with an engine rebuild.
