the ps pump should have a pully or at least a place to put the pully where it would bolt on...unless someone cut it off

It doesn't seem to have any splines or any way to even turn a shaft, atleast not that I can see.

Well, in ROTORCOASTER's case, there is no shaft. There is an empty hole about 1.5-2 inches deep. It's not a continuous diameter hole. However, it is all smooth. It doesn't look as though there is anything in the hole to grab hold of a shaft, should one be inserted. It's really quite confusing to look at, and try to visuallize how a shaft would attach.

I'll see what wee can do about getting some pics soon. It's still in the car, and not very accessible camera-wise.

if you haven't taken out a ps pump before its gonna be messy...you have to disconnect 2 hoses, let it drain, unbolt the 3 bolts on the front, then you would normally unbolt the pully...and take off...its a bitch if you have an AC compressor in the way, BE CAREFULL with the AC hoses if it is there...

this is how i had to take mine out...i have an 84 gsl-se...dunno if they are the same...

There is A/C, but he's planning on removing that permanantly anyway, so no big deal.
