1st gen Fully Adjustable Coilover Rear (minus camber)

That is nice and all, but from what I know about AE-86 suspension geometry, that does not look right. I have been taught that you should never have a trailing arm suspension set up with the arms being in the position pictured. (the upper one) and they should at the most, be level with the ground. Are you relocating the arms a little bit because of the rear end swap, or is the setup a compromise? I'm not bashing at all, just wanted to note that. Your 1st gen looks really nice btw, proper race car!
And I'm a a bit of a n00b, so please feel free to educate me.

^ That link is angled downwards with the original RX7 axle as well.
Well if the camber plate is loaded in the way I think it is, given that you said it's a camber plate, the fact that the plate is merely 1/8" thick would be the reason.
And aluminum doesn't bend eh? Don't tell that to the aerospace industry, they'd have nothing to make fuselage and wing skins with.
i agree, theres a helluva lot of load at the strut towers.
an example from real life
ground control camber plates, 1/8" aluminum, these fail by breaking. aluminum doesnt bend. what kind of force is there to break 1/8" aluminum? especially since its connected to the shock!
now this is in a racing environment, and its fairly rare, but thats the kind of force that the suspension encounters

as far as the trailing arm goes, the picture shoes it pointing slightly upwards however, it is pretty much level..
...also, im pretty sure i shouldnt have any issues with anything breaking on this setup, however if something breaks i'll be sure to let everyone know. how it broke and why.

sorry guys im slipping, im starting to feel like JimLab right now. Get some awesome thing done to the car, but then wait another 3 months to get more progress...eh, its never ending.
I did however drive the car twice now (then started having motor issues) and with the t3/t04e turbo, traction was non existing in 1st and 2nd gear with street tires...lol

p.s. however did launch the car, and no wheel hop issues
and i still need to order the front coilover setup (respeed setup) however between buying a house right now, and just dumping 3500 into the wifes bmw...i lost my play money...oh..and on top of that im in the processes of gathering some $$$ to buy a repu....damn busy times!!!
lots of power...

holy high way robbery batman!!! i built my entire coilover setup for less than 1500 bucks..
...1000 for that setup would be more like it.
as the toy 8" only cost about 200 bucks from a junk yard, and then maybe 500 worth of work to cut and weld the old perches....
$800 mark up hurts
...btw im getting 600 bucks back from the irs here soon, so thats a full engine rebuild and then on to the front suspension!!!! yay!
