1st gen body parts

I am looking for a new front end for my gold 81 gsl. I need a hood, the panel between the front bumper and hood, front bumper, fenders, and the front end core support piece that the radiator duct bolts onto. If anybody has any of these body parts in gold that would be awesome but it doesn't have to be gold. Please let me know what you guys have.

Recently I had to find the front nose piece and headlight buckets and was surprised to find them at my mazda dealer, you might try there.

The panels don't have to be perfect. If I can get everything in gold, great, if not, oh well. Lemme know what you guys have.

Mazda has the fenders, which only list for about $100, the panel between the headlights, headlight lids, and you can probably still get a bumper out of em. the bumpers are huge money, i think supply is limited.

hoods are NLA new.

Thanks I will check with them tomorrow. What does NLA mean? Not a Large Amount? Not Locally Available? I was looking to go a cheaper route and find the stuff from somebody that has it layin around.

NLA = No longer available.

One thing to consider that if you are paying someone to do the work, then the body work to get a used part ready to paint can cost more than the new part. 2cents

That's why I would much rather find something laying around that came off of a gold car instead of buying new from the dealership.

I called my local dealership and was told I can't get my hands on these parts anymore. I asked if they had some at a nearby dealership and I was told there was no point in trying because I'm not going to find anything. So if anybody has these parts laying around please let me know. Thanks

There's a salvage yard that has a gold '83 with a good front bumper, I took the hood, the RF fender looked fine, IIRC AutoWreckingPartsLLC.net : Inventory : Mazda
The '84 is black with red interior, they also have a blue '85 in rough shape. The parts should be affordable, but labor and shipping may kill the deal for ya.

fender part numbers are FA01-52-111D for the right and FA01-52-211D for the left.

hi, i have that^
have you been poking around the FS section? aha parting out a 84GSL
I have fenders too, but the bottoms of the rear of them are rotted and you wouldnt want them (you might want the RX-7 badges off of them though! LMK)

I can do $70 + shipping (or $75 if you want the rx-7 badges, no guarantee the nipples will all be on the back)
for all of that i listed

PM me with a cell # or email and i can send you pics

this, I am personally finding out from fixing my broken bumper with fiberglass and paint...
might as well make a customized fiberglass bumper at the costs coming up...
