1984 Rx7 choke not working .

When I start my car the choke will not stay open.
I have to jamb a nickel in until it's worm.
Any ideas?

Make sure the connection on the back of the water pump housing is good. This sensor controls when the choke pulls back.

There is a procedure in the factory service manual on how to test this circuit.

5A fuse in the emissions computer is blown. Located near the hood latch cable under the dash.
