1980 wiring harness + distributor

I have just purchased my first RX-7, it is a 1980 Leather Sport and has been through a few owners before me who have done some unusual wiring jobs to it. I have been searching high and low through forums and seeing the wiring diagrams but have had no luck figuring out he wiring between the distributor and the T&L coils. I understand the side connectors on the distributor connect to the coils but not which wires connect to which, along with that I am unsure how it connects to the wiring harness.
I am a little bit experienced with wiring and the electrical components but again have had no luck finding either a good example or proper instructions on how everything goes together.

The dizzy wires connect to the ignition box on a stock 80 SA (which is on the front upper driver side shock tower) then some wires from the loom further down connect into the coils. Sounds like we need pics of the mess you have to help sort it out. I suspect yours is no longer wire with the OEM ignition and possibly has been modified or altered along the way.

Here are some photos I have for the current condition of the wiring harness. It is a total mess in the area I've unwrapped but I separated the wires that used to come out from the harness to those that stayed.

I also have an 80 LS and my car is all original save for the RB exhaust. I also have the original Mazda service manual and wiring diagram. I can help with the wiring but I'm working until 10pm tonight. I can post pictures here in your thread or you can pm me your Facebook name or cell number and I can private message you pictures of the wiring and of the wiring diagram.

Thank you so much! For some odd reason it isn't letting me PM you or look at your Facebook but I would be so grateful if we could get in contact

With what I'm seeing, I'd almost be inclined to convert to 1981-1985 dizzy and wiring for that circuit.

I think you need at least 24 hours of membership before you are permitted to send private messages. If you are unable to message me, I will just post the pictures here in your thread after work. Either way, I'll do my best to get you the information you need to get your car fixed!

Hey! I also have an 80 LS that i'm having wiring troubles with. Not getting any spark to the bottom 2 plugs on either rotor. I have known good igniters, coils, and dizzy. I was wondering if i could get the pictures of the wiring diagram, and any of the service manual that might help? I haven't been able to find anything on foxedca that matches up, and there's some shoddy wiring in my harness. Thanks!

Black wires going nowhere from relay.

Black Wires in second Pic run from relay?

That relay isn't factory. Post a pic of any of the relay wires that are hooked up and from where.

Relay & Where wires lead to

This car had some sort of radar added to it? Had a switch when i first got it, and took it apart thinking it was for the radar, and wouldn't screw with anything. Tested it when it was intact, and didn't change much. I could put it back together maybe, and try again? I've replaced the coils since then.

Pictures below

Red Wire leading to fusible link (?)

Red Wire Connected to yellow-green wire for ignition coil?

Yellow and Light blue wire going through chassis to driver side.

Kill switch of some sort perhaps? Taken apart.
