1979 RX7 with SCCA wide body kit? questions

so I am really digging the scca body kit on the SA rx7.

I think I am going to go that route.

but I have some questions. I can get the kit from Black Dragon still. for 1400 bucks, and install and paint myself. but.....

were there any mods needed to the rear fenders? like cutting wheel openings larger. I seem to rember there was a great write up on one a long time ago. but cannot find it now.

thanks

The front fenders should be a complete replacement item, so the stock steel fronts wouldn't need modding. The rear fenders would almost certainly need cut in order to clear the much wider tires needed to fill the huge gap created by adding the widebody.
