For the SE its relatively simple if you have basic auto mechanical skills, and as wwilliam said its well explained in the archive thread on the subject. The critical requirements are tools, patience and planning. As a rough guide think of about 80 hours work if eveything fits first time, and you have the occasional four hands

Make sure you have a good engine first or you will be really frustrated!.

actually is verry easy, if your gonna keep the stock SE tranny, but even the turbo II tranny is relativilty easy. it took me 2 weeks to do mine, and thats coming at 4 from work and work until 9-10 pm and saturdays and sundays from 10 am -7pm. but is easy. whats are you plans?

I don't know if any of the other eighty-thousand people said the same thing, but it's archived.

well i shouldnt say that, but maibe will take more to other people, i should it add that my car it was already turboed' and i had most of the parts it still once you have all the parts it wont take long to put it in. i knew what to do too so you better to a research first but in a gslse is almost strait foward. check the 1st gen FAQs and look for turboII engine ina GSLSE. it will help alot in your proyect

Zachstylez: yeah no problem you can PM me
