13B SE ACV blockoff same as 12a?

I have a 13B GSLSE intake laying around with an ACV blockoff plate attached and was wondering if it will fit on my 85 GS without any fabbing.
Thanks!
Justin

Nope. 12a and 13b are very different in that respect. You'd have to make one hell of an adapter plate, then rewire the whole car so you can run the fuel injection, buy a family size bottle of asprin to deal with the never ending headache you'll have, and some Rogain for the hair you'll pull out when you find that its gonna take forever and still might not work right.

Why not just get an old working six port, oh nevermind you'd still need the harness and ECU out of the SE. I had this dream once, now you know why I run the Holley!

I meant the blockoff plate, is the 13B plate the same as the 12A plate?

I can't remeber if they're the same or not (been a while since I've seen a 12a) its easy enough to pull off and try though.

I was bored this morning and decided to check this out because Mazdatrix sells only one type of ACV block plate from 81-92 (NA) even though I don't think there is an a-spec 92. Sure enough, they are the same. So it is true that all NA 12a & 13b motors from 81-92 use the same style blockoff plate.
