Would you be able to put 13b end plates and intermediate plate with 12a rotor housings? It looks to me like it would be a quick way to get a ported 12a engine. Would I be able to use my 12a intake manifold and exhaust header. Thanks for the help.

 

you can swap all the cast iron plates...I prefer using 79-83...after that, the ports are small especially the center plate.

 

So I can use the 13b plates with the 12a. It looked to me like the o ring seal grooves do not match up correctly from the 13b to 12a.

 

If its a pre 86 engine it should fit

 

Only '86-02 engines have the coolant seals in the side housings.

'74-85 4-port 13Bs use the same side housings as 12As.
