13b in a 82 rx7
13Bs are just longer 12As.
13B 6-ports are just 4 port engines with different end housings.
Now there are different *generations* of 13B, but they aren't important if you aren't trying to mix and match internal parts or housings.

hmmm.. i didnt know that.. the 12A and 13B have the same size housings.. so really.. the only difference in them are the rotor width's, and rotor housing width's along with some other things such as the E-shaft?

Exactly.
In fact from '74 to '78 the 12A and 13B used the same side housings. The parts on the sides of the rotors from '74-85 are also the same, 12A and 13B.
Only difference is rotor width and the attendant differences due to length.

The power differences werent so much as in the blocks themselves, but the real power came from a MUCH better designed intake. That and the option of turbo. However getting that the FI for those intakes (in the stock form) is a roayal pain in the ***.
