i've never gone up against a 5.0 and i've always thought
that they have ponies,,at least they sound like something healthy,,i knew i was gonna get smoked.

I've beaten 5l V8's with my 12A street-port. Given some modified ones a run for their money as well.

 

There is no such thing as a '97 5.0 In '96 they went to the 4.6 SOHC pile of crap.

UNless you were racing an Explorer, which was the only thing to get the 5.0 after 1995
