So I fixed my 12A's fuel issue by putting a smaller pump on it. Now its boosts pretty good but still has some awkward spots. I boosted a lot tonight, and it was so much fun! I find myself asking how long should a 12AT last when maintenance is kept up with? So all you guys with 12at or even 13B turbos how long are your motors lasting? Still going ? Popped?( if so please explain what you think caused it)

 

Each motor is different. I can't speak for 12a's but I know that the rew has issues with the water seals.

30-40k for a motor that is properly maintained and is decently modified. There are many factors that can influence this though. Just boost it and have fun.

 

130000kms for my FD engine going pop. I still have yet to crack a 12A.

 

t2 engine has a decent life span....

 

on low boost they can last over 100,000 miles, as the boost goes up reliability goes down..

 

How low is low boost?

 

Ambient, plus the rad fan.

 

8-10 psi is low boost
