12A turbo build coming together.

Hey guys.

My 12A turbo build is coming together, Ive done much research but im still missing a few bits. I have to get a 12A Turbo exhaust manifold which i advertised for but couldnt get one cheap enough, S5 turbo downpipe and intercooler.

All the parts will be going into my S3 FB 85 12A EFI Extend Street Port. It has a haltech E6X computer with Gilmer drive, PWR radiator and large FC style oil cooler.

Apart from the parts i have mentioned what else do i need? oil lines, pressure gauges ect?

Also, im getting the V-mount FMIC. What do i need to mount it?

Cheers

the manifold, if you're looking specifically for a 12a turbo Manifold it's gonna be hard to find, and when you do it's gonna be expensive since it wasn't a U.S. imported car. anyways, there's a way to weld an S4 manifold to a 12a flange and making your own from there, you can do a search on this.....there was also some guy in here who sold them, but i haven't seen him in a while.

:P sorry i didn't see you were from australia.......well you can still follow on some of this stuff haha.

Sweetness. Looks like a good clean build. Does the throttle body setep you have use 4 injectors or two. If you are running 4, it shouldn't be that hard to tune providing your using a 3 bar map sensor. Good luck with the build.

I have one custom made that would work great for his setup but he told me that he was going to get one made out of his headers for $200 in AU. Hopefully that works out for you, but if you change your mind and want an excellent product, let me know . Price still stands at $500 shipped to you sir.

This is a special designed manifold and it will have great flow. I know your mechanic was worried about purchasing from US because our steering boxes are on the left hand side, but as I stated this is specially designed for a RHD car from Japan or AU that will avoid the RHD steering gear box.

Cheers for the offer but 500 is way too much for this US$ or AUD$, and also i dont require the external wastegate. But im still looking.

Ive seen a couple on ebay sell for around 190-200 AUD so ill be patient......there is no rush, ive been putting parts together for almost 2 yearts now.

Yep im running 4 injectors, and the MAP is brand new along with the computer, im not expecting too many issues as long as i keep the boost at 10psi. Im just missing some hard to find parts.

I had someone offer to do an exhaust manifold here in Oz but turned out to be a waste of time. Turbo is a TII series 5 with internal wastegate.

Other parts i think im missing are mounting parts for the FMIC, oil lines, piping, pressure guage ect.

Way too much? I guess it's all difference of opinion. I think over the years I've sold about 4 or 5 at that price to AU and they were highly grateful for it being so cost effective.

I can have it made without the external wastegate but that wouldnt lower the price, its more pricey because the S4 and S5 flanges cost more.
