12a street port
I just did this street port on my brothers 12a and i wanted to now if its a good or bad job.We will be putting it all back together friday and hopefully have it running by saturday.

I'm going to go with Uh-Oh. It kinda looks like you came too far towards the inside, past the the line from the oil control ring. But I'm no porting expert, yet.

It just looks like the top inside corner comes in too far...where ARE the experts?? I'm so close to doing something radical like searching for the answer myself, I know there a thread with pics that lays it out somewhere. Heck I'm bored, I think I'll go look for it...

Okay, with a second closer look I'm going to give it an unoffical thumbs up. The first time I looked at the picture I had the brightness turned way down on my computer for watching movies, so with the shadows it looked like he had come down a 1/4" too far. I think I was looking at the wrong line the first time.

Thanxs for all the info,this was my second 12a i have done. The first was a brigdeport 12a,which only started by pushing it. We where going to put it back together saturday but, didnt make it to mazdatrix in time to buy seals and gaskets today. I will keep you guys posted
