12a starts revs to 4000 then dies right away
Hey guys I'm having some carb issues I think. Back story is I bought this car to restore and that went really well so now all that's left is to get it running so I rebuilt the carb cleaned everything really well and put all new gaskets on it, did a rats nest delete following the guide on here from rx7carl and sterling and stripped the carb following another guide on this forum but kept my choke assembly. So the issue is it will start but as soon as it does it revs to around 4000 then dies.
Troubleshooting I've done so far
Fuel bowls are dead center
Lots of fuel pressure
Getting tons of spark to all plugs
Compression test - 90 on both rotors
Now the tps on the carb isn't hooked up but I don't have a rats nest so do I need it?
Any ideas would be a great help
Thanks in advance
