12a Rebuild: Mystery Gaskets (from the kit)

Preparing to reassemble.

Got the Atkins N201-89-100 gasket kit. I've identified everything but a few gaskets.
In the image:
A - appears to be for the air control valve (I left it attached to the intake manifold)
B - no idea
C - no clue
D and E are identical in shape. I have an E match on the split pipe to the CAT, but not sure about D

Any help will be appreciated.

Maybe for CA models? EGR related perhaps. B is for the OMP.

I can see B for a 13B OMP. I have 2 for the 12a OMP.

Could be there are extra's to cover different configurations. I keep them handy just in case.

Nah, B is for the 1 inch air pipe that returns to the manifold from the catalytic converter. It connects to the back of the intake manifold.

Tim, if you don't have a few parts left over at the end, you screwed up someplace.

Put those extra gaslets in the FSM, they might come in handy later.

I believe that one is E. The old one is still on the manifold sitting on the shelf. (image)

I pulled the intake manifold off the shelf.
A is for the air control valve.
B is for the #2 Anti-Afterburn valve (shutter valve)
C is still a mystery

They go somewhere, but nothing I've taken apart as far as I can tell.

C is for the altitude compensator valve. hangs on the passenger side of carb. deleted usually in a typical strip down job.

Yup, that's the connection I was talking about. Comes back from the exhaust to the back (aft passenger side) of the intake manifold.

Yep, the FSM is good for storing extra gaskets, keeps them flat and protected. You just need to remember they're there.
