OR Help identifying remanufactured distributor

Hello,

I'm attempting to upgrade the ignition system in my 79 SA from points to an electronic ignition following the steps laid out here:

Mazspeed's First Generation Rx-7 Club Page

I bought a remanufactured Cardone distributor. They claim is for an 81. I'm not sure it is the right part, however; because the igniters on the dizzy have 3 prongs and not 2 like described in the article I'm following. Here's a picture:

So, is this a distributor for an '81? Can it still be used? And, if so do I just ignore one of the prongs?

thanks for the help!

Ok, I've answered my own question. I read the directions more closely and it seems that 3rd prong is just the clip for the factory connector. Thanks to anyone who stumbles upon this.

Mods, feel free to delete this thread.

the model number for the distributor is stamped into it.

the GSL-SE is an N304, the 81-81 is something like an N201, 84-85 is an N249.

Thanks j9fd3s.

TheRx7Project: I ordered it online from Autozone. They charged me $267 minus a 15% promotional discount. Got it all wired up, haven't started it yet.
