I did away with my behive and went with a 10 row FMOC. I fabbed up a braket. I made up -10AN lines and used an Earl's 501ERL oil temp thermastat. Starts to open at 160 degrees fully open at 180 degree. Then its the job of the FMOC to keep the oil cool enough. It has an internal bypass until it heats up. The idea of having one is so that the oil gets warmer faster. It's actaully worse to have cold oil then to have hot oil. At least with warm oil, there is some circulation. With cold oil not so much.

I agree completely sir, I will be doing something similar for my FMOC this winter. Nice setup by the way, congrats!
