Will a return line on a Nikki carb cause motor to shake really bad if it has a tiny leak

No it will not cause a hesitation. It will just drip. Even a leaking feed line may not cause a hesitation depending on the severity of the leak.

My motor shakes but that's caused by a vaccum leak
